I’m John, and this is my blog on roleplaying games. The pencil and paper (and dice) kind. I cover gaming from a role player’s perspective.

About John

I’m a 30 something gamer, who’s been gaming since fifth grade. Of course I started with the red box basic D&D set. I moved on to Advance Dungeons & Dragons, and dabbled in other TSR games like Marvel Superheroes and Star Frontiers. When Palladium books released the Robotech RPG, I then experimented with all the Palladium games. During middle and high school I continued playing these games, and experimented with GURPS. In the last year or two of high school and thru college Vampire, Werewolf, and ther rest of the World of Darkness games were my main games of choice. All thru this time, I dabbled in other games as well, Warhammer Fantasy, West End’s Star Wars, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, Teenagers From Outer Space, Role Master, and MechWarrior to name a few.

I’m currently playing in a couple of Dungeons & Dragons campaigns (with one group),  a modified Mage the Campaign (with another group), and a Serenity game (with yet another group). While I’m currently a player, I’ve got a long history of game mastering games. When I have time, I do love to run rather than play.
