It looks like I won’t have to go another DunDraCon without a copy of Anima - Beyond Fantasy. My copy arrived yesterday from Amazon. I’ve only briefly flipped through it, but it looks nice and is in great condition. The pricing at Amazon is great, but the availability isn’t (1 to 2 months for delivery). You’re probably better off ordering directly from Fantasy Flight Games.

Thursday, April 10th, 2008In my last post, I mentioned Anima, Beyond Fantasy. Some of you thought I was talking about some furry roleplaying game (geez, buy a copy of the Albedo RPG and suddenly you’re a furry), others are familiar with the game. Anima is anime/manga inspired fantasy setting, which is currently a card game and a miniature game.
I was exposed to Anima for the first time DunDraCon a year ago. Upon hearing about the role playing game, I quickly check the release date. At the time the English version was coming soon. A year later, it’s still coming soon. Fantasy Flight Games has “spring 2008″ listed, but also says there’s no estimated time till the translation is complete. I think release date slip has beaten any slippage Palladium has ever had.
